RAJA foloseşte tehnologia UV - LIT pentru purificarea apei

Una dintre cele mai inovatoare tehnologii de purificare a apei a fost inaugurată, în premieră naţională, la Constanţa. Regia Autonomă Judeţeană de Apă (RAJA) - lider naţional pe piaţa serviciilor de alimentare cu apă potabilă în ceea ce priveşte imaginea şi calitatea serviciilor furnizate, singurul operator de servicii de alimentare cu apă şi canalizare din România, care este membru cu drepturi depline în Asociaţia Internaţională a Apei (IWA) - este deţinătoarea primei staţii de purificare a apei potabile cu ajutorul razelor ultraviolete, un sistem necesar în contextul prevederilor legislaţiei europene privind siguranţa alimentară.

„Este o zi deosebită pentru noi, pentru că, în premieră absolută în România, am tăiat astăzi panglica instalaţiei de tratare a apei cu ultraviolete, o tehnologie de vîrf la care puţine ţări din lume au acces în momentul de faţă. Această tehnologie este utilizată doar de trei ţări din lumea întreagă - SUA, Rusia, Canada - şi asigură, într-o proporţie net superioară, sănătatea populaţiei, eliminînd din ecuaţie elementul clor. Cu ajutorul acestei tehnologii, se reduce cu 90% (!) consumul de clor şi se elimină în proporţie de 100% viruşii, bacteriile, tot ce este biologic nociv în apă", a declarat directorul RAJA, Felix Stroe. În staţia pilot instalată la Constanţa, funcţionează două echipamente de fabricaţie rusească, modelul DUV-12A-350, în valoare de 270.000 de euro. Investiţia RAJA a fost inaugurată în prezenţa primarului Constanţei, Radu Mazăre, şi a preşedintelui Consiliului Judeţean Constanţa, Constantinescu Nicuşor Daniel. „De acum încolo, apa de la robinet nu va mai avea gust de clor, aşa cum ne obişnuiserăm. De asemenea, o altă realizare fenomenală a RAJA este că a reuşit ca 274 de străzi din Constanţa să fie racordate la sistemul de canalizare, urmînd ca, în scurt timp, toate să beneficieze de această facilitate. Personal, sînt bucuros că RAJA şi CJC sprijină proiectul de construire a locuinţelor. Este un mare angajament pe care ni l-am luat, acela de a oferi tinerilor posibilitatea de a avea propria lor casă", a declarat Radu Mazăre. Constantinescu Nicuşor Daniel a punctat conceptul de iniţiativă inteligentă a RAJA, în contextul importanţei pe care apa o are din „punctul de vedere al strategiei şi al siguranţei stării de sănătate a populaţiei. În Rusia, sursele şi staţiile de apă sînt păzite cu mitraliera. Sînt bucuros că am reuşit să schimbăm sursa de alimentare de la Canalul Dunăre - Marea Neagră cu sursele naturale, pentru ca populaţia Constanţei să aibă apă de cea mai bună calitate şi pentru că investiţiile inteligente ca cele de astăzi nu numai că asigură o stare de sănătate mai bună a oamenilor, dar scuteşte RAJA de sume importante care se dădeau pe clor. Cu aceşti bani putem să intrăm în cartierul de la Energia şi în celelalte case şi locuinţe pe care le vom construi".
Deocamdată, staţia de purificare deserveşte jumătate din Constanţa. „Staţia de pompare Călăraşi, cea mai mare staţie a RAJA, este amplasată în zona cea mai înaltă a oraşului şi are un debit de 2.400 de metri cubi pe oră. Tehnologia UV - LIT implementată aici elimină în totalitate viruşii şi bacteriile, ceea ce clorurarea nu face şi, în acelaşi timp, nu schimbă gustul şi proprietăţile apei", a declarat directorul tehnic RAJA, Aurel Presură. Pînă la sfîrşitul acestui an vor fi dotate cu astfel de echipamente toate staţiile de pompare a apei potabile din municipiul Constanţa, urmînd că anul viitor să se înceapă instalarea acestor echipamente şi în celelalte localităţi din reţeaua judeţeană de distribuţie asigurată de RAJA Constanţa", a încheiat directorul general al societăţii, Felix Stroe.
